Meet our accessible boat Poppy.

On 22nd April 2022 Poppy, Norfolk’s first wheelchair accessible powerboat made her first official splash. Officially launched by the Countess of Leicester, Poppy set sail for the first time from the heart of her new home, Blakeney Quay.

Poppy is a specially designed ferry boat for wheelchairs, she’s also available for passengers with a wide range of other disabilities. She can carry a total passenger weight of 325kg (wheelchair weight inclusive).

Trips are tailor made to meet the needs of passengers. We understand that there will be family or carers who will want to be a part of the trip as well. Please get in touch and provide us with all information to arrange a trip suitable to you.

Poppy Freedom

Poppy Freedom — our NEW larger accessible boat — coming to the water for 2027.

Designed to welcome everyone, Poppy Freedom will carry groups of up to 12 passengers consiting of wheelchair users, others with mobility needs, plus family and carers. The vessel is being built with accessibility at its core: level boarding, secure wheelchair positions, spacious maneuvering areas, and secure seating for those wishing to join their loved one.
