Booking a Trip

To book your trip, simply scroll to the bottom of this page, select a suitable date, and complete the booking form. It’s really important that we understand who the trip is for and any specific passenger needs or access requirements. We’re always happy to discuss this with you beforehand, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Timetable & Passenger Limits

Our trips follow a set timetable governed by the tide times at Blakeney and Morston Quay. You can find the full running timetable at the bottom of this page.

Please note:

  • We can accommodate a maximum of 5 people, with a total combined weight limit of 345kg (including wheelchairs and passengers).

  • Trips are run by our wonderful volunteers and are currently offered free of charge.

Donations

As a charity, we are committed to making trips on Poppy accessible to all, regardless of financial circumstances. We believe everyone should have the chance to experience the freedom and joy of being on the water. Donations are always welcome, but never essential.

Your support helps us continue to offer this unique experience. Every donation, no matter the size is gratefully received and directly supports our charitable work.

Each trip costs our charity over £100 to run, so we suggest a voluntary donation of £50 per trip. Donations can be made securely through our website.

As a charity, we are committed to ensuring everyone can enjoy a trip on Poppy.

Weather

For the comfort and safety of our passengers we retain the option to cancel a booking if the weather looks unfavourable. We'll always do our best to keep you informed in advance.

To book a trip on Poppy, it is important that we understand who the trip is for and the requirements of the passengers. To ensure a safe and comfortable experience we ask that the form below be filled out by the trip organiser, signed and returned to us at least 14 days prior to the trip.

Trips follow a set timetable and are governed by the tide times at Blakeney & Morston harbour. The trips timetable can be found on our website: www.wheelyboatpoppy.org.
